Future job scope of Electronics & Communication Engineering – Studying electronics and communication engineering is the dream of every second aspirant due to a number of reasons – growth, job opportunities, salary range and continuous industry growth. One of the broad engineering fields, Electronics and Communication involves the transmission of information across channels like coax cable or optical fiber or radio link.

Electronics and Communication engineering is one of the most popular engineering branches out there. Electronics and Communication involves the transmission of information across channels like coax cable or optical fiber. Candidates have good opportunities in this field. This field is applied in the area of designing equipment’s such as routers, switches, fiber optics and electronic switching systems. Graduates in Electronics and communication Engineering also have lots of opportunities in Government and private companies in the areas of design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of electronics equipment and systems. In a nutshell, ECE branch of engineering deals with electronic devices and software interfaces. The degree which is more helpful to the candidate to develop their skills towards programming and analytical zone. So it is compatible for engineering aspirants. Upon completion of the degree, candidates can choose to work in consumer electronics, electricity generation and distribution, transportation, aviation and avionics, computer applications, radio and television, telecommunications, manufacturing and offshore industries. Nowadays the recent growth in advanced technologies, most of the industries are beginning to adopt robotics, automation technologies, artificial intelligence, smart energy systems, Internet of Things (IoT) into their process, and also penetrated into different areas like healthcare, instrumentation, automation, remote sensing, signal processing etc.

So students pursuing electronics and communication engineering have a lot of scope in varied industries.

EDC/AIC LAB
DIGITAL SYSTEM LAB

Digital systems are designed to store, process, and communicate information in digital form. They are found in a wide range of applications, including process control, communication systems, digital instruments, and consumer products. The digital computer, more commonly called the computer, is an example of a typical digital system.

EDA LAB

POWER ELECTRONICS LAB is a universal learning platform which is very useful for Students to understand the concept of power electronics. Students can perform experiments like VI characteristics of the power electronic devices, single phase controlled rectifiers, DCDC choppers etc. This Lab is provided with a bread board for testing their own circuits. Power Electronics Lab is provided with built-in AC & DC power supplies and exhaustive learning material.

DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB

A digital circuit is typically constructed from small electronic circuits called logic gates that can be used to create combinational logic. Each logic gate is designed to perform a function of boolean logic when acting on logic signals.

ELECTRONICS WORKSHOP
ANALOG & DIGITAL COMMUNICATION LAB

This laboratory provides a platform to the students to understand the basics of analog and digital communication systems, modulation techniques, data transmission, multiplexing, etc. This laboratory is equipped with RF Transmitter, Spectrum analyzers, Signal Generators, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, modulation modules, etc.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS LAB
EDA LAB

Electronic design automation (EDA), also referred to as electronic computer-aided design (ECAD), is a category of software tools for designing electronic systems such as integrated circuits and printed circuit boards.

MP & MC LAB

Microprocessors and Microcontrollers laboratory helps the students to develop their knowledge on processor architecture and the programming skills. This laboratory houses the hardware which includes 8085 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8086 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8051 Microcontroller trainer kits, interfacing cards and software Keil-51. This laboratory provides hand-on experience to interface I/O devices, perform A/D and D/A conversions, design digital clock, traffic light control system etc.
